Moonlight Labs is an LA-based technology studio building advanced applications. Our projects demand skills and vision to take advantage of the latest capabilities in mobile and web platforms. In this role, you will work with a top-notch team with advanced skills in a variety of technologies that will be sure to complement your capabilities.
We are looking for web developers to build optimized web content with accessibility and performance as top priorities. Projects will include content built on JAMSTACK content-management systems including Hugo and Bridgetown, as well as Web Components which are integrated into larger applications. Deep understand of responsive design principles, web design best practices and tools for content optimization are required. You will be developing well-structured HTML and CSS as well as Javascript when necessary.
Requirements
- Love of good design, typography, iconography
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript optimization
- Experience with Bootstrap, Material UI and/or Tailwind
- US work eligibility
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills (English)
Nice to Have
- UX and Design experience with tools such as Figma or Sketch
- Shopify site management and design
- JAMSTACK site experience
- Track record of tuning page performance with Lighthouse (Page Speed)
